In 2022, our founder Sarah was helping a friend furnish a new apartment. The process was exhausting — endless Pinterest boards, conflicting advice, and products that looked nothing like the photos. After spending $1,400 on a rug that was the wrong size, she decided to build something better.
PatchDecor launched with a single tool: a rug size calculator. Within three months, it had 40,000 users. We realized people were desperate for practical, personalized design guidance — not generic blog posts.
